Abuse
You’ve gone through something unimaginable and while we can’t erase what happened, we can try to help you move forward.
Types of Abuse
Abuse can take many different forms, including (but not limited to) physical abuse, emotional abuse, and sexual abuse.
Physical Abuse - Involves any intentional act of violence or harm, such as hitting, pinching, pushing, punching, or kicking.
Emotional Abuse - Involves behaviors such as verbal harassment, isolation, or manipulation that are intended to bully, control, or intimidate the victim.
Sexual Abuse - Involves any unwanted sexual activity (behaviors such as touching, kissing, or intercourse) that is forced upon another person without their consent.
Abuse can have a profound and long-lasting impact on the victim, including physical injuries, emotional trauma, and difficulty forming future heathy relationships. It’s important for victims of abuse to seek support, contact the authorities, and take legal action.
